This 1kg premix can make over 20 delicious doughnuts.

 

Ingredients: Stabilizer (modified corn starch,maize starch, potato starch, tapioca starch), Rice Flour, Maize Starch, Psyllium Husk, ALBUMEN (EGG),Thickener (hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose), Salt, Preservative (sodium propionate), Maize Flour, Buckwheat, Golden Flax, Xanthan Gum

 

What you will need before starting: Yeast, Golden Syrup, Water & Vegetable Oil.

 

Method (also included on pack)

1).Add premix & fresh chilled yeast to the bowl and crumb together.
2).Slowly add the water & syrup and mix together either with a fork or small food mixer.
3).Blend or knead together until a smooth, homogenous consistency is achieved.
4).Slowly Drizzle in oil, mixing until it is no-longer visible (1-2 mins).
5).Divide into 80g pieces. (Cut a circle out of the middle if making ring doughnuts)
6).Cover the doughnuts with a tea-towel & place in a warm area.
7).Prooving/fermentation will take 30mins 
8).Fry in hot oil (BE WARY OF OIL SPLASHING) turning the doughnuts regularly until golden brown. (Usually around 4 mins)
9). Sugar can be added straight away , if icing please wait until doughnuts are cold.
